Amanda Bynes, who was cited Sunday morning for driving with a suspended driver license after a variety of driving mishaps, faced some criticism from an unusual place.

"Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?" Lindsay Lohan wrote on Twitter.

Bynes' driver's license was suspended after authorities filed two hit-and-run charges against the actress earlier this month. In addition to the hit-and-run charges, she is also facing a trial on a charge of driving under the influence.

She has had numerous run-ins with authorities.

On April 6, the 26-year-old actress was arrested about 3 a.m. after authorities said her black BMW struck the rear corner of a sheriff's vehicle. She was charged with driving under the influence after she refused a Breathalyzer or blood-alcohol test.

On Aug. 4, a motorist told police a vehicle driven by Bynes rear-ended and damaged her Toyota on Ventura Boulevard. The driver said Bynes stopped only briefly, declared there was no damage and drove off. Police said Bynes failed to provide insurance information or allow authorities to be called before she left.

She was also involved in a hit-and-run on April 10, authorities said.

The latest run-in occurred Sunday. Bob Hope Airport police spokesman Victor Gill said Bynes was pulled over at 8:20 a.m. She was not detained and no details were available about why officers made the traffic stop.

Since her license was suspended on Aug. 25, she has been spotted driving on numerous occasions. She was pulled over on Sept. 9 by Los Angeles police after officers said they saw her driving without her headlights on. Officers did not check her license at the time and did not cite her.
