Friends, family, and admirers welcomed double Olympic medalist McKayla Maroney back home to Los Angeles on Wednesday.

And was she impressed?

"I am just not impressed with anything," the gymnast joked on Wednesday night, in reference to the viral Internet meme that captured her look of disappointment during the medal ceremony for the women's fault with her eyebrows raised and lips pursed to the side.

"The national anthem was playing and it wasn't mine, and I was just a little bit heartbroken," said Maroney, who was heavily favored to win the event but had to settle for a silver medal instead of gold.

Maroney said she finds the meme really funny and even posted a picture on her Instagram account with her teammates all making the expression.

As for the rousing applause she received at the All Olympian Gymnastics Center in L.A. on Wednesday night, she said, "This is the best warm welcoming ever, coming on like a red carpet. This is awesome, thank you so much."

The 16-year-old gymnast won a gold medal in the all-around team competition at the London Games in addition to her silver medal in the vault.
