Actress Halle Berry was released from a Los Angeles hospital after suffering a "minor head injury" on set, her publicist confirmed Wednesday.

The 45-year-old Academy Award winner was shooting a fight scene for "The Hive" when the injury happened, spokeswoman Meredith O'Sullivan told The Times.

"She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released," O'Sullivan said in a statement. "She'll continue production as planned."

Berry was reportedly taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Tuesday night, but O'Sullivan did not say where the actress was treated or when the accident occurred.

Berry has suffered several injuries on set before, including a broken arm while filming "Gothika" in 2003 and an eye injury while shooting "Die Another Day" the previous year. In 2004, she was hospitalized after being hit on the head with lighting equipment on the set of "Catwoman."
