3.7 quake strikes near Marina del Rey and felt in downtown L.A.

A shallow magnitude 3.7 earthquake was reported Wednesday morning two miles from Marina del Rey , according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 3:18 a.m. PDT at a depth of 5.6 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was three miles from Culver City, four miles from El Segundo, five miles from Inglewood and 12 miles from the Los Angeles Civic Center.
In the past 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
