1 killed, 1 injured in suspected Wilmington gang shooting
One man was killed and another injured in a suspected gang-related shooting in Wilmington, officials said Monday.
The shooting took place at West E Street and Gulf Avenue about 7 p.m. Sunday when "one gangster pulls up, shoots two other gangsters," said Bruce Borihanh, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department.
Both men were taken to the hospital, where one later died. The surviving victim was not cooperating with investigators, Borihanh said.
No other details were available.
It was the sixth homicide in Wilmington this year, according to the Times' Crime L.A. database.
