Earthquake: 3.4 temblor strikes near Morgan Hill

A shallow magnitude 3.4 earthquake was reported Monday morning nine miles from Morgan Hill , according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 1:13 a.m. Pacific time at a depth of 3.7 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 11 miles from Seven Trees , 12 miles from San Martin and 15 miles from San Jose City Hall.
In the last 10 days, there has been one earthquake of magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
