Pedestrian struck by Metrolink train in Anaheim

A Metrolink train struck a person who had trespassed onto the tracks Thursday night in Orange County.

The person was hit by Train 644 just east of the Anaheim station, Metrolink said on its Twitter account. The transit agency reported the incident about 10:15 p.m.

A bus was transporting passengers from Anaheim to Oceanside.

The condition of the person was not immediately known. No other details were available.
