Police: Sportsmen's Lodge shooting stemmed from domestic dispute

Sportsmen's Lodge suspectA Valley Glen man shot his ex-girlfriend in the head at the Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City early Monday morning and fled with their young children, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police are looking for the suspect, Michael Lajun Green, and the children, 6-month-old Zyler Green and Maaliyah Green, who is 1 1/2, they said. Police said the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute but did not provide further details.

The shooting occurred just before 5 a.m. at the landmark hotel, where the victim was staying, police said. Her injuries were not life-threatening and she was being treated at a hospital, police said. The victim's name has not been released.
