This post has been corrected. See note below.

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of killing a woman in a Studio City park.

Patrina Sabella, 32, of Rosamond was found with multiple stab wounds early Tuesday morning at the baseball fields of South Weddington Park. Sabella was pronounced dead shortly after authorities arrived at 2:20 a.m.

Stephen Joanou, 26, was arrested Tuesday in Burbank in connection with Sabella's slaying and was being held in Los Angeles County jail on $1-million bail, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Anyone with information about the killing is asked to call North Hollywood homicide detectives at (818) 623-4075.

[For the Record, March 23, 2012: An earlier version of this post said the park was in North Hollywood.]
