1 wounded in possible robbery at post office in Carthay
Los Angeles police Monday night were responding to a reported shooting that left one person wounded at a post office in the Carthay neighborhood.
The victim was shot in the hand during a possible robbery attempt at the rear of the post office in the 1200 block of South Alfred Street near Pico Boulevard, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The shooting was reported about 8:10 p.m. It was unclear whether anyone else was injured or whether any arrests had been made.
No other details were immediately available.
