Long Beach couple beaten in home-invasion robbery
Long Beach police said Wednesday they were looking for a group of men who beat up a couple in an early-morning home-invasion robbery.
Police received a call about "unknown trouble" about 2:45 a.m. from inside the home, and when officers arrived at the address in the 2900 block of Daisy Avenue, they found the couple injured inside, said Lisa Massacani, a spokeswoman for the Long Beach Police Department.
The man and woman in their 60s were treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, Massacani said.
The robbers were seen driving southbound on Daisy Avenue with undisclosed items they took from the home, she said.
