Inmate dies after fight at downtown Twin Towers jail
An inmate who was critically hurt during a fight in the downtown Twin Towers jail died of his injuries Tuesday, Los Angeles County sheriff's officials said.
The fight, which involved three inmates, was reported at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility on Saturday. The inmate was pronounced dead Tuesday.
Sheriff's officials did not disclose the nature of the inmate's injuries. He was taken a hospital, where he died.
