Fight over Del Taco toilet leaves man, 64, with broken arm

MontebelloA homeless man has been arrested on suspicion of breaking an older man’s arm in a scuffle over a toilet in a Del Taco restaurant in Montebello, police said.

The 62-year-old homeless man was inside the restroom at the fast-food restaurant in Montebello Plaza when a 64-year-old man wanted to enter, said Sgt. Julio Calleros of the Montebello Police Department.

“The gentleman was kicked multiple times, breaking his arm,” Calleros said. The older man was taken from the eatery in the 880 North Wilcox Avenue to a hospital.

The homeless man was arrested on suspicion of assault.
