L.A. County supervisors to consider nomination of temporary counsel

 Acting LA County Counsel appointment The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday is expected to consider the nomination of John Krattli, a career county lawyer, to temporarily take over the county counsel’s office, following the resignation of Andrea Ordin.

L.A. County Chief Executive Officer William T Fujioka recommended that Krattli, currently the acting chief deputy county counsel, receive a 15% boost in his base salary, from $201,925 to $232,214, if the supervisors approve the appointment to acting county counsel.

In November, County Counsel Andrea Ordin, 72, said she would resign after about two years on the job, effective Feb. 1. 

In 2010, Ordin’s base salary was $245,833.38.
