Actress Heather Locklear, who was rushed to a local hospital Thursday, is recovering with her parents by her side.

"She is in no danger and she's going to be just fine," according to a statement issued by her parents and Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center and obtained by People magazine.

Locklear was taken to the hospital after emergency personnel responded to her Thousand Oaks home shortly before 2 p.m., according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.

A 911 call was made from Locklear's home earlier in the day, prompting the response by rescue personnel, according to a report on msnbc.com.

It was unclear why Locklear was hospitalized.
