Marine from Camp Pendleton killed in Afghanistan

A Marine from Camp Pendleton has been killed in combat in Afghanistan, the Pentagon announced Thursday.

Staff Sgt. Vincent Bell, 28, of Detroit was killed Wednesday in Helmand province. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, part of the 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton.
