Six hurt in crash that closes lanes on PCH near Topanga Canyon

Six people were injured Thursday evening in a vehicle crash that shut down lanes on Pacific Coast Highway near Topanga Canyon Boulevard, officials said.

One of the victims was trapped in a vehicle, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

The extent of the victims' injuries was unclear. Two southbound lanes and one northbound lane were closed shortly after 5 p.m. and were expected to remain shut down for about two hours, the California Highway Patrol said.

No other details were immediately available.
