Cyclist killed in crash with car in Pasadena

Authorities are investigating the death of a cyclist who collided with a car in Pasadena.

The 61-year-old Los Angeles man, whose name was not released pending family notification, died of his injuries at Huntington Memorial Hospital, Pasadena Police Lt. Diego Torres told 626 Now.

The fatal collision occurred shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday at Colorado Boulevard and Terrace Drive. The bicyclist had been riding on the sidewalk of Colorado Boulevard and crashed into a car making a left turn.
