Three dead, two arrested in shooting at San Bernardino trailer park
Two men were behind bars Tuesday after three men were killed in a shooting in a San Bernardino trailer park, authorities said.
Ruben Sanchez, 19, and Jesus Tiburiso, 18, were pronounced dead from gunshot wounds on the 1600 block of West Highland Avenue shortly after 7 p.m. Monday, San Bernardino police said.
Nineteen-year-old Evaristo Contreras was taken to the Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he died in surgery.
All three victims were from San Bernardino and suffered “upper body trauma,” according to the San Bernardino County coroner’s office.
Within the hour, police arrested two suspects nearby that matched witness descriptions: 19-year-old Jesus Urzua, of San Bernardino, and Emmanuel Pimentel, 25, of Rialto.
Police also recovered weapons they believe were used in the shooting, including a shotgun.
