Crime alerts for Reseda, Chesterfield Square and 12 other L.A. neighborhoods

Crime reports are up significantly for the latest week in 14 L.A. neighborhoods, according to an analysis of LAPD data by the Los Angeles Times' Crime L.A. database.

Seven neighborhoods reported a significant increase in violent crime. Reseda (A) was the most unusual, recording 12 reports compared with a weekly average of 3.5 over the last three months.

Chesterfield Square (H) topped the list of seven neighborhoods with property crime alerts. It recorded 19 property crimes compared with its weekly average of 8.2 over the last three months.

Alerts are based on an analysis of crime reports for June 23–June 29, the most recent seven days for which data are available.
