Teen arrested in fatal stabbing of older brother

June 10, 2011 |  8:09 am

A 17-year-old boy was being held Friday on suspicion of murder in the fatal stabbing of his older brother, Pomona police said.

Victor Aguero, 24, died on the way to the hospital in an ambulance following a deadly confrontation with his brother Thursday night, investigators said. Police did not release the suspect's name because he is underage.

Officials said the multiple-stabbing attack occurred in the 200 block of Whitney Avenue near Gladstone Street at 9 p.m. Investigators were trying to determine what led to the confrontation, but said they believe that alcohol was involved.
