Homicide victim's body found in a planter in downtown Perris
Riverside County authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a planter in downtown Perris.
Deputies received a call just after 2 p.m. Monday of a body discovered in the 200 block of North D Street, and when they arrived, found the body hidden within a planter next to an alleyway, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The cause of death has yet to be determined, but the coroner’s report listed the death as a homicide.
The victim’s name had not yet been released.
