Suspect may have followed, robbed elderly people after their bank visits, police say
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials said a 41-year-old parolee may be responsible for robbing four seniors, including two in Glendale, after they were followed home from their banks.
Authorities were able to link parolee Lee Jones and his black Dodge Charger to a robbery of an 82-year-old woman in the 25000 block of Bowie Court in Stevenson Ranch, said Lt. Steve Low of the Santa Clarita Valley station.
Low declined to release details about the robbery until the district attorney's office filed formal charges against Jones, who is being held in a county jail.
