3.1 earthquake shakes San Gabriel Valley

A small earthquake was reported Tuesday morning in the San Gabriel Valley.

The magnitude 3.1 temblor occurred at 1:27 a.m. about a mile from Covina and about 22 miles east of downtown L.A.

There were no reports of damage.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, hundreds of people reported feeling the temblor in the San Gabriel Valley as well as Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
