2 bodies found in Culver City home identified

May 4, 2011 |  9:50 am

Two bodies discovered in a Culver City home were identified Wednesday as those of an 89-year-old man and a 27-year old woman, an official said.

But Culver City police remained tight-lipped about Tuesday's grim discovery by a "citizen" inside a residence near Washington Boulevard and Huron Avenue.

The man was identified as Lucien George Bergez of Culver City. The women's name was being withheld until her family could be notified, said Ed Winter, assistant chief of the L.A. county coroner's office.

The causes of death were under investigation.
