Third suspect sought in Diamond Bar break-in

April 19, 2011 |  8:32 am

L.A. County sheriff's deputies were looking Tuesday for a third suspect in the burglary of a Diamond Bar home that led to a manhunt and the lockdown of a nearby school.

Deputies investigating a burglary report early Monday afternoon saw three suspects running from a home in the 23000 block of Chandelle Place, a Sheriff's Department spokesman said. The suspects dropped bags allegedly filled with stolen items, officials said.

Deputies surrounded the area and asked nearby Lorbeer Middle School to go on temporary lockdown and to control dismissals to prevent students from entering the search area.

Two suspects -- Dotson Brown, 25, and Richard Brown, 18 -- were arrested after they broke into a nearby home in an effort to elude capture, said Lt. John Saleeby of Sheriff's Department.

The third suspect, identified as a man in his early 20s, was being sought by deputies.
