4 injured in plane crash near Camarillo Airport

April 9, 2011 |  4:30 pm

Four people were injured Saturday afternoon when a small plane crashed into a storage building near the Camarillo Airport.

Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Allen Kenitzer said three people aboard the plane suffered minor injuries and one was in serious condition. No one on the ground was injured.

The plane, a Bonanza BE35, was on its final approach to the airport just before 1:30 p.m. when it lost power, Kenitzer said. The crash also set off a fire.
