Authorities swarmed the Metro Red Line station in North Hollywood on Wednesday night after a "use of force" incident involving a man and two deputies.

The incident occurred about 7:30 p.m. on the station platform, where the man was apprehended after an altercation with deputies patrolling the subway line, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Squad cars, their reds lights flashing, were parked outside the station Monday night, along with Los Angeles City Fire Department units.

Authorities said train service was not interrupted. No additional details were immediately available.
