Man shot, killed during yard sale at Boyle Heights home

A 22-year-old man was shot Thursday afternoon in front of his home in Boyle Heights, where he was holding a yard sale, authorities said.

Los Angeles police said Joseph Ulloa was in front of his home in the 1100 block of North Evergreen Street  about 1:30 p.m. when he was shot multiple times “for no apparent reason.”

Ulloa was rushed to a hospital but died there.

Police have no suspect and released no further information on the shooting.
