Four people were shot in Hollywood early Sunday morning after a fight connected with a so-called party bus, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The suspect remains at large.

The incident occurred shortly after 3 a.m. near the intersection of Cahuenga Boulevard and Franklin Avenue, said Officer Karen Rayner.

[Updated at 4:50 p.m.: Police are sorting through conflicting witness statements, but the four victims and the shooters were either all on a party bus when the altercation occurred, or the shooter was on the bus and shot into a crowd on the street, she said.]

Two men in their 40s were shot in the leg, a woman in her 20s received a graze wound to her head and another woman in her 20s was shot in the buttocks, Rayner said. All four victims were taken to local hospitals and were listed in stable condition.

The suspect may have fled in a blue Chevrolet El Camino, Rayner said.

Sgt. Enrique Mendoza of the LAPD’s Hollywood station said police were not releasing suspect information because they were sorting through conflicting witness statements.

“A lot of the information we got from witnesses was several different versions. That makes it very difficult to determine what actually happened,” he said. “None of the information right now we can really say is reliable. We’re still trying to piece it together.”
