Police were trying to determine Monday who threw at least one Molotov cocktail at a home in the Fairfax area.

No one was injured in the 1 a.m. incident on the 100 block of North Vista Street, said Capt. Paul Proni of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Arson investigators were looking at the incident, Proni said, declining to comment on whether the apparent attack is believed to be targeted or random.

Proni said more than one Molotov cocktail could have been thrown at the side of the residence. Authorities gave no information on possible suspects as of Monday afternoon.
