Video shows men sexually assaulting disabled women

January 6, 2011 |  9:27 am

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department detectives plan to hold a news conference Thursday afternoon to ask for help in identifying four men wanted in the videotaped sexual assaults of at least 10 severely disabled women.

Sheriff's Department officials said they plan to provide details about the case, which they described as "extremely disturbing," at the briefing.

Detectives with the department's special victim's bureau are to release photos and composite drawings taken from video screen grabs of the assaults.

The composite drawings were added to give greater clarity to the still photos, said Capt. Mike Parker of the Sheriff's Department.

"We do not know who the suspects or victims are," Parker said. "We do not know where or when the assaults took place, and that's why we very much need the public's help."
