Television falls on baby in El Monte
A 14-month-old El Monte boy was in the hospital Tuesday after a television fell from a dresser and landed on him.
Police went to the home in the 11400 to 11500 block of Dondson Street about 9:48 p.m. Sunday after the baby crawled to the dresser and pulled on it, sending the TV set crashing down on him, said Sgt. Richard Williams of the El Monte Police Department.
The boy was taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, where he was in stable condition Tuesday, recovering from head injuries.
A police investigation determined the incident was accidental, he said.
