New rainstorm moving into L.A. area Sunday

A new storm is expected to move into Southern California on Sunday, bringing scattered showers that could last into midweek.

According to the National Weather Service, there will be a 50% chance of rain Sunday evening through Monday. Rains could continue into Tuesday. Highs in the L.A. area will be in the 50s.

The Rose Parade got underway with temperatures in the low 40s.

By the end of the week, officials expect sunny skies with highs in the low 60s.
