A male pedestrian was struck and killed by a southbound Blue Line light-rail train late Friday in Willowbrook, an unincorporated area near Compton, authorities said.

The incident was reported about 7:40 p.m. near the 130th Street crossing, said Gayle Anderson, a spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

No one on the train was reported injured, she said.
