A man was shot and killed as he was driving in Van Nuys early Friday morning, authorities said.

Rahmir Williams was headed east on Vanowen Street near Sylmar Avenue when shots were fired into his vehicle just after 1 a.m., police said. The victim’s car continued down the street until it hit a fence.
