Police seek gunman in fatal shooting outside Valley Glen McDonald's

December 6, 2010 | 10:54 am

Police were seeking the public’s help Monday in a deadly early morning shooting outside a Valley Glen McDonald’s.

Two men were in the parking lot off Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Victory Boulevard about 2 a.m. when they were approached by several men in more than one car.

After a verbal dispute, one man pulled out a handgun and fired several rounds at the two men, striking both multiple times, police said. They were taken to a nearby hospital, where one was pronounced dead and the other is in critical condition, authorities said.

Neither has been identified. No arrests have been made in the shooting, and investigators have not determined whether it was gang-related, said Los Angeles police Lt. Brian Wendling. Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at (818) 623-4075.
