Residents in San Juan Capistrano ordered to evacuate

Residents of about three dozen homes in San Juan Capistrano were ordered to evacuate Wednesday.

The homes are located in the area of Old San Juan Road and Calle Rio Vista, authorities said. Six of the homes were affected by heavy flooding.

There also is heavy flooding in Silverado Canyon and mud and debris flows in Williams Canyon.
