December 12, 2010 |  3:34 pm

Three people were injured during a high-rise fire in Century City on Sunday afternoon, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

The fire was reported around 3:14 p.m. in a condominium unit on the 20th floor at 2170 Century Park East, Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott said. About 75 firefighters were sent to the building, along with one helicopter, he said.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the unit and extinguished it in 23 minutes, he said.

Three women were injured during the fire, Scott said. Two were taken to the hospital, one with minor burns and one with respiratory problems. The third was treated at the scene for a minor medical complaint, he said.

The cause of the fire was not immediately determined.
