Drizzle forecast for Southern California, with a chance of rain later this week

The heat wave over the weekend is giving way to cloudy conditions and drizzle across Southern California on Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service, dense clouds will give way to drizzle Tuesday evening. Valley areas will be warmer and sunnier.

The cloudy, moist conditions will continue through the week, with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s.

By Friday, the weather service predicts a 40% chance of rain, which will continue through the weekend.
