Crime reports are up significantly for the latest week in nine L.A. neighborhoods, according to an analysis of LAPD data in The Times’ Crime L.A. database.

Three neighborhoods reported a significant increase in violent crime. Green Meadows (A) was the most unusual, recording 19 reports compared with a weekly average of 11.1 over the last three months.

Northridge (D) topped the list of six neighborhoods with property crime alerts. It recorded 50 property crimes compared with its weekly average of 38.2 over the last three months.

Alerts are based on an analysis of crime reports for Dec. 18–Dec. 24, the most recent seven days where data are available.
