October 3, 2010 |  4:26 pm

Two men were shot to death early Sunday as they sat in a pickup truck at an intersection in an unincorporated area near Carson, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The shootings occurred about 2:00 a.m., at Normandie Avenue and Torrance Boulevard. The men, who have not been identified, were pronounced dead at the scene. Sheriff’s investigators released no further details.

Scott Lane Pacheco, a videographer for RMG News who arrived at the scene shortly after the shootings, said the men were sitting in the front seat of a blue Chevrolet pickup at a stop light. Both appeared to have been shot once in the head, Pacheco said.
