Police seek hit and run driver in Van Nuys pedestrian injury

Los Angeles police are looking for a driver who struck a pedestrian in Van Nuys early Saturday morning and fled. 

The victim, an 18-year-old man, was walking on Vanowen Street just west of Noble Avenue when what was possibly a white Nissan Maxima or Infiniti four-door sedan hit him and drove away, police said.

Paramedics took the man to a local hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.
