October 19, 2010 |  2:47 pm

A body of a man was found inside a truck next to the Hollywood Boulevard studios of "Jimmy Kimmel Live," according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Detectives were on the scene and trying to determine whether the man met with foul play or died of natural causes, officials said.

The LAPD was called to the back of the studio near the corner of Hawthorn and Highland avenues around 1:40 p.m. when someone noticed the victim slumped in the truck, officials said.

The victim appeared to be in his 30s or 40s, said Officer Norma Eisenman, a spokeswoman for the LAPD.
