Chance of rain in parts of Southern California

July 11, 2010 |  8:49 am

The cold July continued Sunday with the National Weather Service forecasting patchy low clouds, fog and even a chance of rain.

Temperatures are expected to hover at around 70 along the coast and in the 80s inland.

On Saturday evening, some parts of L.A. had periods of light rain, including the Westside, downtown L.A. and Burbank. The drizzle didn't last long.

More rain could occur Sunday, but forecasters say it's most likely to hit in the mountain and desert areas.

The cloudy, cool conditions are expected to continue Monday and Tuesday.
