June 13, 2010 | 10:41 am

Two young men attending a post-prom party in Venice were injured in a drive-by shooting early Sunday, authorities said.

The victims were standing on the sidewalk on Louella Avenue just south of Venice Boulevard about 2 a.m. when a dark-colored sport utility vehicle approached and a gunman opened fire, Los Angeles Police Sgt. Dennis Beacham said.

One of the victims was in critical condition and underwent surgery at a local hospital, Beacham said. The other victim suffered a non-lethal gunshot wound.

Beacham said the investigation was ongoing and it was not known if the incident was gang-related.

No other information was given.
