Service restored to Time Warner phone customers in Southern California

May 7, 2010 |  9:31 am

Service has been restored to Time Warner telephone customers in Southern California affected by a nationwide outage.

Darryl Ryan, a spokesman for Time Warner Cable, said engineers worked Friday to restore service to the area after it went out earlier in the day. Internet and cable video services were not affected, he said.

He did not know how many phone customers had lost service.
