Ventura County quake felt as far as downtown L.A.

A magnitude 3.9 earthquake occurred Friday night near Port Hueneme in Ventura County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The temblor struck at 8:19 p.m. about nine miles east-southeast of Port Hueneme, It was felt as far away as downtown Los Angeles.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
