Disneyland closes Tomorrowland after unattended bag discovered [Updated]

Officials closed Disneyland's Tomorrowland on Wednesday afternoon after an unattended bag was discovered in the area.

The amusement park said in a Twitter message that it was working with the Anaheim Police Department and had cleared the area.

[Updated 5:33 p.m.: The rest of Disneyland remains open until its regular closing time of 8 p.m., park spokeswoman Suzi Brown said. "Our guests are enjoying the rest of the park," she said. Brown added that the bag was found about 4 p.m. near the Tomorrowland Theater. ]

It was unclear when Tomorrowland would be reopened.

Anaheim police said officers were on the scene. No other details were available.
