May 10, 2010 |  1:24 pm

Workers discovered the body of a man in the parking garage of the Farmer's Market , according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The man, 35, was discovered inside a truck parked in the garage. [Correction: An earlier version of the story stated that the body was found in the parking lot of the Grove shopping mall. That was based on information from the LAPD. But a representative of the Grove said the body was actually found at the parking lot of the Farmer's Market, which is located next to the Grove.]

Authorities are still investigating, but officials said they believe his death was drug-related. No foul play is suspected, officials said.

LAPD Cmdr. Andy Smith said detectives suspect the unidentified man might have died of a drug overdose and could have been inside his truck for some time.

"He may have been there for a couple of days," Smith said.

The commander said the case has been turned over to the coroner's office for a determination of the cause of death.
